< In this case, a fee will be charged >
* Less than 48 hrs notice of reschedule, cancel or any changes - a fee, 50% of your appointment must be paid before next booking.
* No-show - a fee, 100% of your appointment must be paid before next booking.
* Late drop off - Clients who are more than 15 minutes late will have their appointment cancelled because it impact our entire day, and 100% of payment of the missed appointment must be paid before next booking.
(However, if we are able to take in your dog after 15 minutes, a $20, late take in fee will be added to your bill)
* Late pick up - $10/ 10 min. late pick up fee will be added to your bill.
(We will let you know the pick-up time by text message about 20-30 minutes before the completion.)
* There is a $10 cleaning fee for dogs using the toilet in the grooming salon.
(Only for dogs not using a toilet under the tree in front of our salon before entering the salon because of the 1:1 work with limited time and conditions. )
Due to the increasing amount of unconfirmed no-shows, late cancellation or changes of appointment, late drop-off & pick-up dogs, and toilet issues we have been left with no alternative.

1. Welfare
To ensure the welfare of the dog, the owner must inform the dog's medical issues that may need extra care or be separated from other dogs. Dogs with minor injuries or illnesses will be treated with first aid and monitored until the owner arrives. In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Merry Pawpins to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the dog as necessary. The pet is fit and healthy, Grooming that takes place on an elderly or infirm pet will be at the owner's risk
2. Safety
To ensure safety, the owner must inform the dog's personality issues that may need extra care or be isolated from other dogs. Dogs that display aggression towards the groomer or other dogs will be separated and muzzle used if deemed necessary. Owners may be asked to collect their dogs if they present a danger to salon members, other animals or themselves.
3. De-matting
“De-matting" or complete coat removal will dramatically alter your pet's appearance. This procedure may expose pre-existing health\skin problems for which Merry Pawpins cannot be held liable. There is also a chance that your pet’s skin may become irritated from clipping so close due to matting and could be accidentally cut in the process. The procedure takes extreme care and extra time, due to this there will be additional charges depending on the severity of the matting.
4. Payment
We accept all major credit cards. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
5. Cancellation / No-show / Late / Toilet
Free cancellation, rescheduling and any changes can be made up to 48 hours before the appointment time via the banner on the booking confirmation email or text us. Please make sure you received the cancellation confirmation email.
No Cancellation confirmation email, No Cancellation.
If you do not receive the confirmation email of cancellation or reschedule, it is due to the 48 hour limit. Text us ( 0492 020 207 ) and we will help you at an additional fee.
If the booking is not cancelled and the owner does not attend (No-show) their booked appointment, they may be asked to prepay before any future appointments will be taken.
Ensure your dog is dropped off no sooner than 10 minutes prior to your appointment to avoid any risk of previous dog's grooming. Please text us when you arrive at our car park, we will let you know asap.
We recommend that you arrive at the salon 5 minutes earlier than your appointment time, and it is best to walk near the salon for dogs that need to use the toilet before entering the salon.
